Homemade Wine

My homemade wine won an award at the local county fair for the third year in a row! This year, my Pinot Noir took second place. (There were about 50 entries.)

I am currently making a batch of Petit Verdot, a wine varietal that I have never made before. So far, it's an interesting result -- clean and fresh, fruity to the nose, and leaving a dry effect on the palate.

Of course, it still has to finish for another six months or so. We'll see how it ends up next summer...

Sincerely,
Corkie the Dog

Corkie, I want it on the record that you owe me a bottle of this Petite Verdot that you were talking about.
